Farmers, Food & Fun for Future

Every 1st Saturday of the Month, the ecoLODGy Centre is organizing an Open Day with Brunch Buffet, inspiring workshops and talks, a market for local  artisan food and products as well as organic farm produce, and an open seed & seedlings exchange – for all fans of sustainable living and life-long learning, artisan food and organic products, and those longin for a relaxed but meaningful outing in a beautiful, natural space.

TIME: 9am to 1pm

WORKSHOPS AND SHOWCASES IN OCTOBER:

• 9.30 a.m.: Intro Workshop – Healthy Herbs: Making our own natural herbal creams and ointments
• 10.30 a.m.: Site Tour with our Founder (free of charge)
• 11.30 a.m.: Talk – The Universal Right to Growing Our Own Food and the Status of Seed Sovereignity in Malawi (free of charge)
• 12.30 p.m.: Intro Workshop – Healthy Herbs: Easy Soap Making with flowers, herbs, and natural essential oils

The activities take 1-1.5 hours each.

Workshops have a maximum of 10 participants to ensure good spacing and are suitable for adults and mature kids (for soap making, minimum age 10 years with parent supervision); pre-booking advisable to secure space; cost contribution: MK 4,500 p.p.)

This event is happening mostly outdoors and spread out on our spacious nature regeneration plot.

Extras: Chilled music, children playground, pool billiard, cash bar and snacks are available from our Beetle Bistro….

A richly varied, farm-fresh brunch picnic (=breakfast & lunch) can also be pre-booked @ MK 9000 (adult), MK 4500 (children 5-12); under 5s eat free of charge.
